Samtec high-speed interconnects are frequently designed into AI and high-performance computing (HPC), networking, storage, and data analysis equipment. At SC26, Samtec will showcase interconnect solutions incorporating the Si-Fly^® HD co-packaged and near-chip systems for optical and copper applications from 224 to 448 Gbps. Si-Fly HD co-packaged copper (CPC) boasts the industry’s highest footprint density, with a robust interconnect, enabling 102.4 Tbps — 512 lanes at 200 Gbps — in a 95 × 95 mm chip substrate.

Co-packaged copper or optics (CPX) offers the lowest signal-loss transmission from the package to the front panel or backplane while providing the highest density. Open CPX MSA is an industry consortium founded in 2026, focused on specifications that are interoperable across multiple vendors for 224 Gbps and 448 Gbps signaling. Samtec’s Si-Fly HD CPX technology is an implementation of this architecture, and Samtec is a founding member helping to define the Open CPX ecosystem.

Other high-performance interconnect solutions on display in the Samtec booth will include next-gen FireFly™ mid-board optical engine solutions and Bulls Eye^® test systems for up to 130 GHz/448 Gbps.
